Who we are
acurata is a German manufacturer of high-performance rotating instruments for dental practices, dental laboratories, dental CAD/CAM systems, podiatrists, and nail salons. The products are developed and manufactured in-house at our production facility in Thurmansbang, Lower Bavaria. Professional expertise and technical skill form the foundation of our cutters, drills, diamond tools, polishers and brushes. A passion for research and a commitment to generating insights that deliver lasting added value: this is what has made us a successful global player in the field of precision dental instruments – and has done so for over 45 years. The sensitive nature of our field of activity demands a way of working characterised by care, precision and a sense of responsibility – at every stage of development.

For more than 40 years, we have been manufacturing our products with the "Made in Germany" seal in our own production facility in Bavaria. With our sales network and numerous partners, we serve customers worldwide and develop future-oriented and innovative solutions for many different applications – this makes us a successful global player in the fields of dentistry, podiatry, nails, as well as in the industrial sector. Furthermore, in 2005 we were the first dental tool manufacturer to expand our product range with dental CAD/CAM instruments.
What makes our products special
In addition to instruments used in dental practices, such as carbide burs, diamond instruments, polishers and instruments for prophylaxis, we are also specialists in the field of dental laboratory instruments. We produce first-class burs for CAD/CAM and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Podiatrists and nail salons rely on our products in their day-to-day business as well. High-quality instruments, our in-house production Made in Germany, and a large product portfolio – this is what sets high-performance rotating instruments from acurata apart.
In our production facility in Thurmansbang, Bavaria, we manufacture almost all our products ourselves and can therefore guarantee the highest quality, from development through production to delivery – and we have over 40 years of experience in it, at that!
High-quality materials, long-lasting durability and well-designed functionality form the basis for precise work. All cutters, drills, polishers and grinders in the Dental Practice range are also certified as medical devices in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13485.
We not only manufacture almost all our products ourselves, but also sell them to customers worldwide using our own sales system. Customers can shop around the clock in our online shops for dental tools and instruments, and for foot and nail care.
From instruments made of carbide and diamond to polishers and brushes, all the way to surgical products: with our wide array of products, we cover a very broad range of applications and offer numerous variants when it comes to shapes, grain size, teeth and lengths.
